HUMP DAY!!

It’s Wednesday again folks… You know what that means time to celebrate hump day. Its just too bad no one ever really gets over that “hump.” I can’t believe July is almost over. Heck, 2008 is more than halfway over!! Holy rusted metal Batman!! Its crazy to think time flies when you are having fun. Actually it time flies even when you’re not (by retrospect, of course). Nothing much has happened since the last time I checked in. Its just work work work.

I miss my Queen, though. I miss her a whole lot. She’s deserves the world and I hope and pray she gets it sooner rather than later.

Its time for me to enjoy some wine and finish my royal blog. The wine of the week is Charing Cross Zinfandel.

By the way, if you see this little bastard let me know.

He keeps foiling my plans while eating everything in sight, especially my majestic Peanut Butter cups!!

Don’t let that cute face fool you. He is truly evil!!

Actually, it wasn’t the best week ever. The phrase got stuck in my head after watching VH1’s Best Week Ever.

I just love trash TV (MTV, VH1).

It was another draining week. Monday was the CPA exam section and the rest of the week was meeting deadlines. Well more like one important deadline. All I can say is financial statements suck and so do adjusting entries. (You see, the life of an accountant is very depressing. We end up knowing crap that most people don’t or care to understand. That just makes us very weird individually and collectively as a profession.) I do have to say this though: Being an ACCOUNTANT and being a BOOKKEEPER are two different things.

If you work at a company in the accounting department and all you do is crunch numbers or cut checks or any other mundane task for just that one company, you are BOOKKEEPER (or Accounting Clerk, to those that think that we’re the same). If you work at a company that deals with other peoples accounting issues and work (tax returns, financial statements, audits, etc.) than you are an ACCOUNTANT.

Phew.. Now that I got that off my chest. Everything is cool!!

Test Day

A Healthy Dog

Well, the test has come and gone. It must have been the longest four hours of my life. Actually it was the longest since the last time I took that test. I’m just hoping second time was the charm. I got kids to feed!! I need to make my money now!! Well, just Toro.. and he can live off of veggies and fruits it seems. Pretty amazing for a dog. The bloody canine eats healthier than anyone else I know. Go figure!

Looks like its back to reality folks. Time to rest up and get this week started.

Pretty blah for an entry, I know. I’m still trying to get the hang of it.
